About Us

We’re building the Bangla human-preference data that teaches AI which answer is actually helpful, accurate, and natural — the kind of data that barely exists for this language. Every judgment you submit goes into datasets built to research standards, and you are paid fairly for every one.

Chinho is developed by the ELITE Research Lab at Independent University, Bangladesh, focused on building inclusive AI systems for South Asian languages. Our annotation data is used to train and evaluate Bangla language models.

Questions

Anyone 18+ with fluent Bangla. University students, graduates, and native speakers are all welcome. You’ll pass a short 6-question quality test to get started.
You compare two AI-generated responses to a Bangla prompt — everyday topics like bKash issues, study tips, local knowledge, math problems, and Banglish conversations. Pick which response is better, rate helpfulness, accuracy & fluency, and write a one-sentence reason.
Each task pays ৳12. At roughly 2.5 minutes per task, that’s about ৳288/hour. The exact rate is shown before you start every task. During the pilot, each annotator does ~40 tasks.
Request a payout anytime your balance reaches ৳100. We send it to your bKash or Nagad number within 24 hours.
About 10% of tasks are expert-verified gold questions. If your answer doesn’t match, you’ll see the expert’s reasoning — it’s a learning moment, not a penalty. You still get paid for gold tasks.
Building Bangla human-preference datasets for AI research — the data that teaches models which answer is genuinely better in Bangla. The datasets are produced and owned by ELITE Research Lab. Your work is never used for ad targeting.
